SHOP TOUR: Design and Engineering
CAD and Plane in Transistion Kell-Strom’s design and engineering department is equipped with the latest versions of CADAM and Pro-Engineer. We can accept CAD/CAM input files from most formats and can down load directly to our machining centers.

These can be sourced directly from your design and engineering program(s) or one of our internal design programs. Our CADAM system has on-line, real time, production control capacity.

Both our regular system and the CADAM system are capable of electronic data interchange (EDI), which is used on a daily basis with some suppliers and customers. Our Pro-Engineer designing program is fully 3D capable and accepts file formats from all of the most widely used PC based CAD software.
