CONTRACTING STYLE HYDRAULIC
  BALANCING ARBORS AND ADAPTERS
Kell-Strom's Contracting Style Hydraulic Balancing Arbor / Adapter is designed to grip the OUTSIDE DIAMETER of the part to be balanced. There is no heating, freezing or pressing of any parts.

Adapter I.D. Accepts Shaft O.D.

A torque screwdriver is used after assembly to accurately set the hydraulic adapter's pressurization piston by screw action. Torque Screwdriver This causes the I.D. of the adapter to contract a precisely calculated amount and grip the O.D. of the part to be balanced.
The adapter is connected to the balancing machine and need not be removed for installing or extracting balanced parts. This promotes high productivity and quick balancing of duplicate parts.
