line of borescopes includes a number of advanced standard features normally found only in
custom designed instruments.
Visual inspection
is the most basic method of non-destructive testing and has always involved the limits of
space and accessibility. Machida has a number of solutions to these problems.
Machida borescopes are
constructed in one of three standard body types, Barrel, Leverand Knob, each specifically designed to cover a multitude
of needs and applications.
Also
available are specially design kits for specific applications. The example shown here is
for JT-8D turbofan aircraft engines.
